Advanced engineering project in the students special subject Course Description

Course dimension: 16 ECTS point
Project Aims: To provide students with
the opportunity of learning to work in project groups of 3 or
4 students. This includes all stages right from defining the problem
and the project schedule to reporting and documentation of the
finished project. Through project work, the students must apply
the knowledge in the special subject, showing the ability to effectively
utilise combined principles of sustainable design and development
for mechatronics systems. The students must be able to find and
obtain the required knowledge for accomplishing the project.
Subject Matter: - Problem identification, formulation and solution
- Knowledge of fundamentals mechatronics science and engineering
- Design and operational performance for sustainable development.
Undervisningsform: Små korte introducerende forelæsninger efterfulgt
af selvstudie og projektarbejde med den stillede gennemgående
projektopgave.
Vejledende forudsætninger: SIS 3 - Special subject følges parallelt.
Eksempler på projekter: - Distributed, multiple and hierarchical control loop/dynamics
systems
- Distributed intelligent sensors and actuators system.
Prøveform: Mundtlig eksamen gruppevis med udgangspunkt i projektrapporten.
Individuel karakter efter 7-trinsskalaen.
