Project Aims:
To provide students with the opportunity of learning to work in project groups of 3 or 4 students. This includes all stages right from defining the problem and the project schedule to reporting and documentation of the finished project. Through project work, the students must achieve the interrelation between software design and analysis based on formal methods and model based tools, control models, and quality issues. The students must be able to find and obtain the required knowledge for accomplishing the project.

Subject Matter:
- Methodical embedded software development
- Control modeling
- Mathematical issues
- Engineering report writing and documentation.

Undervisningsform:
Små korte introducerende forelæsninger efterfulgt af selvstudie og projektarbejde med den stillede gennemgående projektopgave.

Vejledende forudsætninger:
SIS1+2, følges parallelt.

Eksempler på projekter:
- Build a robot, controlled by a VCR remote, to follow trajectories
- Distributed intelligent sensors and actuators system
- Distributed motor control

Prøveform:
Mundtlig eksamen gruppevis med udgangspunkt i projektrapporten.
