Semesterprojekt - SPRO 6M
Working laboratory model of a dynamic system
Course Description

NM

05.05.04

Project Aims:
To provide students with the opportunity of learning to work in project groups of 3 or 4 students. This includes all stages right from defining the problem and the project schedule to reporting and documentation of the finished project. Through project work, the students must work out mathematical models in terms of sets of of equations for a dynamic system, controlling its behaviour, sensor and actuator physical modeling. The students must be able to find and obtain the required knowledge for accomplishing the project.

Subject Matter:
- Mathematical, dynamical system theory with hierarchical, complex model construction for control rapid prototyping
- Simulation and performance evaluation of new sensor/actuator mathematical structure models
- Frequency domain design
- Finite element models
- Power consumption

Undervisningsform:
Små korte introducerende forelæsninger efterfulgt af selvstudie og projektarbejde med den stillede gennemgående projektopgave.

Vejledende forudsætninger:
FEA1, ISA1, MEV1 følges parallelt.

Eksempler på projekter:
- Physical and/or numerical topic relevant to mathematical modelling
- Mechanical vibrations for motor rotation
- Harmonic oscillations for motorized rotor and a mass.

Prøveform:
Mundtlig eksamen gruppevis med udgangspunkt i projektrapporten.
Individuel karakter efter 13 skalaen.
